SelvaRustica goes big on seafood — tuna carpaccio, sea bass ceviche, seafood soup, and shareable surf-and-turf and grilled-seafood platters that can feed a whole table. The setting and service draw raves, and the chef sometimes comes out to say hello. It's a premium-priced, special-occasion spot, so it shines most on the seafood and shared platters rather than the steak.

What a lovely place to eat. We went for Christmas Eve and had a great time. The atmosphere is great. The service is awesome and the food is delicious. We ordered a Tuna Carpaccio as an appetizer, and it was delicious. As well, we ordered a Tagliatelle with seafood,Chicken fingers, Tagliatelle with salmon and lobster ,and seafood casserole. For drinks, we ordered a craft beer,lemonade and a Sangria. Everything was splendid. Highly recommend.
Aged ribeye did not meet expectations. Asked for medium-rare; got medium-well. Neither 1st nor replacement steak were tender nor flavorful as expected for dry-aged beef. Premium price though. Not a serious food place. Happy birthday staff cheer 5 times during dinner. Flaming margaritas. Many offered wine choices not available when requested. Was misled that this was best restaurant in La Fortuna. Know before you go.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. A Tribeca! appetizers, tuna carpaccio, sea bass ceviche, & seafood soup were awesome. The show stealers were the surf & turf trio with wagu and grilled seafood platter. Both for 2 people. Could have feed the entire family of 6 with just those 2 items. So good! Lemon pie dessert is worth loosen the belt and sharing to finish.
