Edwin runs the kitchen; servers like Rachell get named for warm, attentive service.

A rare, hidden gem! For my last meal in La Fortuna, I wanted something memorable. And this restaurant delivered! I ordered shrimp pasta with toasted bread and the recommended mango and strawberry smoothie. Everything came out beautifully- the smoothie’s flavor profile was balanced and pasta well-plated and seasoned. They also included a free banana chip appetizer - light and tasty! You would think it could not get any better, but the customer service was 6 out of 5 stars. The waitress checked in on me many times with a smile and even showed me how to feed the fish in the adjacent river! Speaking of river, the views of the river were 👍
Wow. Went on google maps & saw 5.0 rating & thought, “blimey give it a go” as 200m odd from digs. Sunday evening with the missis - really good experience. 3 courses - 2 or 3 drinks each approx £60. All fresh, tasty well presented dishes. Can’t recommend enough. Great service/ cheffing. It’s at the back of a medium size hotel so walk 50m in through the gardens to the back by the river.
Very quiet and away from road with great view! I recommend the steak it was delicious, perfectly cooked. Our waitress Rachell was very attentive and kind, always recommended good dishes.
