The House of Tours

We rented the Villa Arenal Family Home for 4 nights through Home Vacations / House of Tours. It was a spacious and charming Costa Rican house, fully equipped with all comforts. A large kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, air conditioning, and a beautiful outdoor area with a swimming pool where we saw a toucan in the tree from our terrace during breakfast. We also booked several tours in advance through House of Tours. Matias took care of everything, and all the information and maps were ready upon arrival. The tours they arrange are with knowledgeable, small-scale organizations, which gave us a fantastic and very personal experience. The Eco Garden sloth tour and the rafting tour were especially beautiful and fun, with expert and friendly guides. Thank you for the wonderful and unforgettable experience in La Fortuna.

We stayed at The House of Tours in La Fortuna, which we booked through Airbnb, and everything was perfect. Although we only stayed for one night as a quick stop in La Fortuna before our flight the next day, it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is beautifully designed—ideal for both short and long stays. It has everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, laundry essentials, an air-conditioned room with a king-size bed, and a bathroom with a hot shower. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we felt incredibly comfortable and well-rested. The place was spotless and well-maintained. We really appreciate the effort the owner and hosts put into ensuring a cozy and pleasant stay, and we recommend that fellow travelers do their part to keep it that way. The hosts were kind, helpful, and flexible. We would definitely stay here again when we return to La Fortuna and highly recommend it to other travelers as well. Thank you for the amazing stay! My family stayed at Villa Graceland La Fortuna for our trip to Costa Rica in November 2024. The house and property were beautiful! The host was incredibly attentive and helpful to make sure we had all we needed. First, he answered all my questions in the weeks leading up to our trip. Once we were there, he even stopped by a couple of times to show us how to use the stove and bring more sheets, etc. He was so kind and hospitable. The house is very clean and modern, and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas! It was plenty big for our family of 6 so everyone could have their own bed. It was truly a home away from home, in a perfect location close to town and had an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano. Five stars!
