About
A private, well-landscaped little inn near Boca del Nosara and the airport, a few miles inland from the resort scene. The host, Alejo, gets consistent praise for being responsive — renting out his motorcycle and helping arrange laundry and tuktuk rides. Expect a stocked kitchen, AC, and the sounds of country life; plane-spotting from the property is a small daily thrill.

Initially I chose this location because it was inexpensive, private, and seemed to provide a sense of living in the place I would be vacationing; and my husband and I were extremely pleased with this choice. Although a few miles inland from the typical resort-style and tourist areas, this local gem offers a sense of home. The unit was clean with ample space both inside and out. The host, Alejo, was super responsive to any of our needs. His motorcycle was available for an inexpensive daily rental, and he assisted us with connecting to a laundry service and a Tuktuk driver for an early pick up at another hotel a few miles down the road when it was time to leave. Watching the planes come and go every day was exhilarating as my husband is training to become a pilot! We felt safe and secure at all times, and loved to wake to sounds of the country life (roosters, geckos, birds, dogs, cats, everything singing PuraVida!) thank you so much!
Located near Boca del Nosara and the Nosara airport, this hidden gem was an amazing property. It had everything I needed—a stocked kitchen, air conditioning, helpful hosts. It was clean and felt very private. The property is pretty stunning and landscaped beautifully. Be prepared to pay by USD or PayPal. I recommend having some colones to use a tuktuk to get around; Nosara is very spread out. About 4 mil colones will get you to Playas Guiones or Pelada. Or go a bit further south and land at Playa Garza. You'll likely have it all to yourself. I'll be back.
Very nice, but no screen on the windows, and there was a strong odor which smelled like mold. The owner is very nice and attentive. The electricity went off a couple of times too.
