About
A clean, well-stocked Nosara grocery that's handy for stocking up on snacks and essentials before the beach — one of the few with a toilet, too. Shoppers like the selection and find what they need without it being oversized. Service reviews are mixed, so it's more a convenient stop than a place known for warmth at the till.

Clean. Good place to buy groceries or snacks before hearing to the beach. There is a clean toilet, 1. Staff is super friendly.
Very odd experience here. We bought some groceries and was going to buy some breakfast cereal; the one my children wanted was packaged in a bag and there were too many packed into the shelf. My son noticed the bag was split and pointed it out to us, unfortunately my 2 year old daughter went to grab the bag and pulled at the rip leading to the bag spilling out onto the floor. I guess someone ripped the bag when trying to pull it off the shelf and gave up. Anyway manager marched after us insisting we pay for the damaged goods! We trying explaining but he wasn’t interested, seemed pretty petty to argue over a couple of dollars so we just paid up.
The store has good products and the lighting makes it easy to find everything. It is well merchandised. But the employees lack basic customer service manners. Several employees will gather up front and chat with each other with only one cashier. No on seems to know anything about the stock, and they often don't care to answer questions. They can't be bothered with helping a customer.
