We booked two excursions with Alex on the Beach during our trip to Guanacaste, and both were great, but our absolute favorite was the private all-day tour to Buena Vista Rincón with our guide, Juan Ponce. Juan truly made the experience unforgettable. He was patient, fun, and made an effort to remember all of our names, which meant a lot to our family of five. We did the Mega Tour Combo which included ziplining, horseback riding, a cultural stop, and more. Every part of the day was well organized and exciting. What really stood out was how Juan shared stories about his life in Costa Rica along the way. It added such a personal touch and made the experience feel more meaningful, not just like a tour. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Alex on the Beach again, and I highly recommend requesting Juan if you can.
We had a great time on our Alex tours while in Costa Rica. Very safe, reliable and inexpensive. Way better than Nexus tours which have been a nightmare.
We had an amazing time with Alex and Javier. They took wonderful care of us and are very knowledgeable of the history and wildlife of the area. I highly recommend them 😎
