About
A market stall turning out arepas that regulars call the best they've had — the vegetarian and tuna ones especially, plus flaky tequenos with a standout dipping sauce and a well-loved Reina Pepiada (chicken, avocado, guacamole). Flavor is the consistent draw; the chicken in particular gets raves. Prices run on the high side for the format, so come for the food rather than a bargain.

Delicious arepas. We came here twice to have dinner and loved it. 💚
Located in the market, this spot was delicious! The best arepas we have ever had! We got the vegetarian one and the tuna one. Both were extremely flavorful- the perfect lunch! We also got a smoothie which was very refreshing and not too sweet! A little on the pricier end but totally worth it in our opinion!
The prices are absolutely insane, even considering tourist tax. Arepas and tequeños are easy and cheap to make. Expecting to get 7000 colones for an arepa is highway robbery. Please don't support places that exploit tourism like this.
