Stone-oven pizzas and a much-loved schnitzel anchor the menu here, with fresh pasta, empanadas, tuna tartare and a chicken Caesar that regulars single out. Handmade happy-hour cocktails are called some of the best value in town, and prices stay reasonable. It sits by the food-truck pavilion near the beach entrance, and the staff — Rocio gets named — are the kind who make you feel like family.

The food here is amazing and the service is exceptional! We enjoyed the schnitzel and empanadas and they were both delicious! Our server, Rocio, recommended the best dishes! Highly recommend!
We thankfully stumbled on this place early in our trip! Happy hour cocktails are handmade, and I think the best deal for the quality in Tamarindo. Everything looked good to eat, but we loved the pizza and the schnitzel. The prices are very reasonable, and the food quality is great. We also heard other people commenting that it was the best food that they'd had in Tamarindo. I cannot say enough about the attentiveness of the staff, they made us feel like family. Honestly, this place is a gem.
We loved the tuna tartare appetizer, and both the taco trio special and “bomba” carne schnitzel entrées. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. It’s conveniently located by the food truck pavilion (food court), closest to the beach entrance. Don’t miss out on this place!!
