Casa Leona

My partner and I just had the best getaway honeymmon weekend here. This hotel is clean and so pretty. We swam in the pool everyday and loved the breakfast that comes with multiple choices and was really delicious. This is within walking distance to town which made it equally convenient. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. If you are looking for a place to stay in Tamarindo, book this hotel. Casa Leona sis not disappoint!

Overall it's a nice place and very fairly priced. The complimentary breakfast is yummy and the pool/gardens are pretty. The room is pretty comfy, the biggest drawbacks are some windows without curtains and the sun comes in at 6 am. The bed/linens were full of static. It was quite noisey as you can here people walking around upstairs. There was a little lack of communication which led us to waiting for the guard to let us in at midnight for a few minutes. Other than that great location and decent value.

We came to Tamarindo the past August to have our wedding there, and decided to stay at Casa Leona with our friends and family the week before the wedding. We were a big group so we rented both the main house and the 4-unit outside. The place is so gorgeous and charming! It's very well-maintained with beautiful and lush trees! The whole place is like a small boutique hotel with staff cleaning everyday, a security guy who came every night, and even a wonderful receptionist who helped us arrange and book tours for our groups. They also helped us with laundry and even treated us a free breakfast on the day of the wedding! The host was also very responsive and helped install door bottoms when we had issues with bugs. We had such a wonderful stay and highly recommend this beautiful place!
