Casa Nahua (Hotel in Tamarindo)

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Nahua in Tamarindo! My sister and I stayed here for her birthday and spent four nights in the Monkey Suite, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s incredibly affordable and in the perfect location—just a five-minute walk to the beach, right next to a grocery store, and surrounded by the cutest restaurants. Even though it’s in a lively area, the property feels peaceful and tucked into nature, which we loved. The Monkey Suite was beautiful, spacious, with a huge balcony and super comfortable beds. Mera was truly wonderful and made our trip so easy. She helped plan all of our activities and was always extremely responsive and kind. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would 100% recommend staying here. We can’t wait to come back!

The room had some of the essentials that an Airbnb should have, but there was only one towel to wash the dishes for the 4 days that we stayed. There is no microwave and there were no paper towels or salt or pepper. There were very limited plates and silverware. There were no cleaning supplies provided and after 4 days a broom would have been massively appreciated. When we asked for more towels to dry the dishes, we were ignored. Anytime we needed something from the front desk we felt like a major inconvenience and we stopped asking for things we needed. They charged an arm and a leg for a handful of laundry. The pool is beautiful and the location was perfect for access to Tamarindo

Great hotel in a great location! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They were on top of cleaning the rooms everyday and helped us out immediately with any questions/extra towels/beach towels etc. I highly recommend!
