We went to Chiquitas for dinner our last evening visiting Costa Rica. We found our meals flavorful with great presentation. We especially loved the enchiladas. We also enjoyed the two for one margarita Mondays deal to go along with the fantastic live music. Our waiter, Alex, made our experience by being attentive and gifting us some shots on the house. I would recommend adding this restaurant to your list when visiting Tamarindo!

10 stars for the ambiance and live music. We discovered this place on our last night and we were so sad that we had missed it the whole week. What a gem. When we visited, Nablo (Natalie and Pablo) were singing and playing and it was simply wonderful. The manager/owner, Manolo of Kingston, was very attentive and welcoming. And the food was scrumptious. I had the tastiest guacamole. The Tuna tradito was actual chunks of tuna , very filling and delicious. The cocktails were very good too. This is a must-visit in Tamarindo.

Came to Chiquita’s on our first night in Tamarindo and it did not disappoint! We’ve been back every night since. The drinks are strong and flavorful, and the food was great- the churros with caramel sauce were our favorite. The service was impeccable, and our server Juan Carlos and the manager Manolo were so attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Would definitely recommend this spot for your vacation in Tamarindo!
