CoffeeHolic Tamarindo

A truly underrated spot. This isn’t my first time getting coffee here, and today I tried their savory crepes for breakfast. Normally when I’m on vacation I try to check out new places, but this one became the exception. The food is delicious. Great coffee and a lovely chai latte. The atmosphere is really nice. It’s slightly tucked away from the main road and in the shade, so you’re not eating with dust blowing on your food. The music is soft and not intrusive, and they have Wi-Fi.

An extremely underrated spot. This coffee shop has such a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere that it’s easy to settle in and stay awhile. Sylvia and her staff are incredibly sweet and friendly, and were so patient with our attempts at Spanish and our slightly embarrassing efforts at conversation; it truly made us feel welcome. The smoothies are amazing and definitely a must-try. The iced and hot coffee are what brought us in initially, but the combination of the wonderful staff, great service, and consistently good drinks is what kept us coming back. A gem of a spot that we were happy to find!
