A Tamarindo favorite that many call the best in town — fresh fish and sushi in large portions, unique desserts, and a lively atmosphere with live music. Regulars name bartender Bernardo and hostess Maureen, and some cancel other reservations just to come back. It fills up, so book ahead. Chicken options are limited (it leans seafood), and, as with any busy kitchen, quality can dip on an off night.

We actually cancelled another reservation so we could come back a second time. Food is incredible and consistent. Sushi was like we had in Japan. Desserts were unique and delicious. This was some of the best food our whole group of 7 have had in a long time! Excellent!!
This place exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was fun and they had live music. Lots of fans to keep you cool. Service was great and the food was delicious! We didn’t have reservations but didn’t wait long (I would suggest you reserve tho) A must try if you’re visiting Tamarindo.
Best restaurant in Tamarindo. Incredible service, large portions, fresh fish and sushi. We ate other “nice/expensive” dining options and they don’t compare to this place. Great atmosphere as well! Bernardo is the best bartender and Maureen as hostess.
