At Entre Raices the daily lunch special — a casado of chicken or fish fillet with rice, beans and salad — comes generous and priced fairly for Tamarindo, often with a drink included. Regulars describe eating here like lunch at a Costa Rican grandmother's table, and more than one traveler called the ceviche the best of their whole trip. Free parking sits right out front.

We had a wonderful lunch at Entre Raíces! We ordered the typical Casado with chicken, and it was excellent. The flavor of the beans and the chicken was truly delicious. The portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable for Tamarindo. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, there is free parking right in front, which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend!
Beautiful and delicious food. Happened upon this place by accident and was so happy we did! The Alfredo sauce tasted like it was made from scratch, the shrimp was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Delicious mint lemonade and the hot honey sandwich was SO good. Fresh and delicious.
Stopped in here with two friends looking for a good dinner and we were not disappointed. Immediately welcomed by extremely friendly staff who were extremely attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious and the ceviche was the best we had the whole trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in Tamarindo looking for a great meal served by equally great people.
