Falafel Bar

We went to falafel bar because someone had said they ate there twice on their trip to Tamarindo. I can see why now! This was our favorite dinner there! The pita bread is so fresh & tastes like those sweet rolls you have around the holidays. The hummus was so delicious. I had the chicken gyro and my spouse had the chicken plate. The portions were so generous we couldn’t finish it and wished we could’ve taken it with us, but we were leaving out the next day. Getting our servers attention was bit difficult at the end. They were really busy though. Worth it. I would eat there again 1 million times!

Loved this place! I only had the shrimp skewer appetizer, which comes with a delicious salad, hummus, tahini and baba ghanoush. It was a generous serving, almost like a full meal. I swapped the tahini for tzatziki though to keep the calories lower and it was delicious. Even the shrimp on its own without dipping it in anything was perfectly grilled and seasoned. My spouse had the Greek salad and loved it. All the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The prices are also very reasonable. And the staff is an absolute joy, especially Manuel. He was super friendly, informative, and genuinely positive and lovely to talk to. Will go again!

The falafel and hummus were exactly what we remembered 2 years ago. EXCELLENT. The presentation was classy. The hummus was smooth and had a creamy texture. They balanced the falafel perfectly. The jalapeño garlic sauce provided an extra bit of heat and flavour. The server had a smile that lit up the room. Everything was delightful.
