Flora is Tamarindo's fully vegan cafe, and even lifelong vegans rate the food fresh and satisfying — the cauliflower tacos, the mac n cheese and the creamy smoothies come up again and again. Grab a front table and you can see the beach. Staff like Wendy and Rose get named by travelers who leave feeling like friends.

I have already been to Flora several times during my trip because I love it so much! As a 13 year vegan I’ve definitely had a LOT of vegan food all over the world. And this place absolutely does not disappoint!!! The food is delicious and fresh, the smoothies are creamy and perfectly sweet, and the atmosphere is serene and beautiful. Not to mention the woman who works there, Wendy, is now a good friend! Don’t hesitate to go here ☺️
We loved our meal here! sad we waited until our last day in Costa Rica to try it, because we would have gone more than once! The staff was sooo friendly and the food was delicious! They even played a birthday song and gave me a cheesecake with a birthday candle to celebrate my birthday 🩷 it truly made my day. Thank you all so much! I hope to visit again soon.
I guess it wasn’t the best day when we went cause there was construction right beside and it was pretty loud. I wanted to work from there at first and couldn’t. The AC didn’t work inside so we ended up leaving to work from another cafe, but came back to try the food. The mac n cheese was amazing, the blossom bowl was average. Drinks were very good ! Nice to see a fully vegan place in Tamarindo !
