About
A multi-story villa on a hilltop above Tamarindo, built for groups, where what guests describe first is always the view -- the bay and Pacific through a full wall of sliding glass, like a treehouse over the water. There's an infinity pool that pours over into a waterfall, spider monkeys and iguanas in nearby trees, and golf carts to reach the beach and town. Owner Josh is named for prompt, go-the-extra-mile hosting.

We stayed here with a group of 13 people and loved the place! The service was excellent. The view was incredible since the home is on top of a hill. Would highly recommend
Just stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, I’m still blown away. The views were absolutely jaw-dropping, like every morning I woke up to a literal postcard. 📸 If you're reading this, don’t even hesitate—BOOK IT! The photos in the listing don’t even come close to showing how breathtaking this place actually is. The rooms were super clean and everything felt so fresh. 🌿 And major props to Josh, the owner—he’s so nice and answered every question I had, especially since it was my first trip to Costa Rica. 🇨🇷 He made me feel right at home. 1000/10, I’m definitely coming back here!
Very relaxing yet productive stay at Waterfall House, up the hill from the hustle of Tamarindo. Accomodations were instrumental for this surf trip with the mission to get out twice a day to progress more than ever at surfing. Arrived in Liberia traveling with surfboards and booked the Tamarindo shuttle which took me right to the house. Use of the carts allowed me to quickly load up and park right at the beach for primary surf access. High tides during my stay were early morning 6am and again at 5pm for decadent sunrise and sunset sessions. Can easily run errands and groceries in town on the way back to the pad to rinse off. While back at the house, the living room and open kitchen layout with the entire wall of glass sliding doors drawn open to combine the full length balcony, feels like a tree house overlooking the Bay and sunsets. Remote work meetings made for some envious faces in the lineup. Lots of wildlife in the trees from morning to dusk to spot, and more emerging from the protected green space in the adjacent foreground. Pura vida. Thanks to host Josh for the vision to create and share this magical experience, and the ability to accommodate such large parties at this private resort. There's nothing else like it here.
