My husband and I love it. There was a local in the bar and we asked him about rec and he gave them to us and we had a great time on our tour. Isa is the best, she made us feel like family. We’re going to miss this place!! ❤️

This is the kind of place that you can call one minute before they’re closing on a Sunday night and ask if they’ll take am order for carry out… And without hesitation, and with a happy tone, they say, “absolutely!“ I know this because I had that exact experience. Consider yourself lucky if you stumble upon this gem! HandleBar is family owned… And whoever they are, they must be really awesome… Because the vibe is super welcoming and positive, the food is great, the prices are a great value… I’ve never met the owners… But I’ve done a little investigating and I discovered they are the original owners of Sharkeys. They made it the biggest bar in town… Then I’m pretty sure they started a family and cashed out!! … Anyway. My point is you’re in great hands…I’m so in love with this place. Looking forward forward to many more experiences at Handlebar!!!

So LOVE this place. I think my favourite bar in Tamarindo. Really helpful people running it, a great local vibe and better beers than you get most.places. Who doesn't love a bike shop bar?
