Hotel Boruca Tamarindo

It is a very nice hotel, in the middle of Tamarindo. Close to supermarket, the night market, ... , close to everything. The room was very good, comfortable bed, AC, nice pool. But the best was Angelo, he was always helping people, always with a nice mood, really enjoying his job. We lost our key, he stayed longer than he must in order to support us and help us get an extra key. He was playig nice music and making Pura vida vibes. This is the kind of worker who makes a difference. In addition, the rooms were very clean 👌🏼

Pretty nice hotel, location is great to the beach and bars/restaurants. Rooms are a bit old and noisy, woke up 6:00 in the morning thought I left all windows open but it’s just really bad glazing. Service and staff were excellent and friendly. Would even make us a small fruit bowl breakfast in case we missed the normal breakfast time due to a tour 👍🏻. In my opinion complaining about the street and the condition it is in is something the hotel can’t be blamed for.

I loved our stay with Hotel Boruca. It felt cozy and personal. To me, this is a more authentic experience of Costa Rica than a lot of what the newer Tamarindo developments offer. The rooms are simple and comfortable, the location can't be beat for being close to the action without being in the middle of the noise all the time, and the staff is wonderful!
