Hotel Marielos

It is very nice because it is only a few minutes away from the beach. The hotel had a free car park and it was very easy to get in and out. There was no problem with hot water or AC in the room. The TV was not working but we skipped it because we did not watch it. There was a safe box there too, we took the key and used it and went to the sea without any worries. There was a shower in the garden surrounded by greenery, we came right from the sea and took a shower there every time. It was not luxurious but it had everything we wanted. The people in the office were also very helpful.

Great location right across from the beach. Centrally located near all of the downtown Tamarindo activity and local experiences. No frills room, well worth the price though. Private off street parking, communal kitchen, cute garden, massive iguanas, howler monkeys, free range chickens, good wifi. It was absolutely perfect for the price. Get breakfast around the corner. I recommend the meadow muffin.

Nice little hostel with very simple rooms and without fancy things. Unfortunately there was no hot water as promised but that's OK since it's hot outside. The TV is very small and the signal barely gets there. On the other hand, it's a lot cheaper than many other hotels in an expensive area... The location is great with just a few steps to the beach!
