Hotel Tama Lodge

I had an amazing stay at this lodge in Tamarindo. From the moment I arrived, the owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and was always available with recommendations, assistance, or just to check in and make sure my stay was comfortable. The lodge itself was peaceful, clean, and in a great location, perfect for relaxing while still being close to everything Tamarindo has to offer. You can really tell when a place is run with care, and that’s exactly how this felt. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tamarindo who wants a comfortable stay with exceptional hospitality.

We went there for a Lads Holiday with my friends and the stay exceeded our expectations. Rooms were big enough for 2 people and having your own bathroom was very nice. Rooms right next to the swimming pool was also a huge plus. Having access to a kitchen also was a big plus as we often made food to save money. Owner was very nice and friendly, and was very open with giving us recommendations about Tamarindo. Overall Hotel Tama Lodge met our expectations and we would definetly recommend it. Absolute bargain for the price.

Great swimmingpool, spotless clean (but smaller) rooms, very friendly host. Walkable from the downtown. Fast internet. A common place with a kitchen (one star down here, it could be more clean there). Definitely recommending! Cool architecture.
