L'Avventura

I stayed at Lavventura in November and it was a great home base while visiting Tamarindo. It’s in an excellent location, just a short walk from the center of town and only minutes from some of the freshest, best seafood I’ve ever had. The weather was perfect during my stay, and the pool was an ideal place to enjoy it. There’s plenty of space for yoga, along with comfortable lounge chairs for sunbathing or reading. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, so it feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle while still being close to everything. The rooms are really well designed, with a spacious walk-in shower and a kitchen, which made staying for a full week very easy and comfortable. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive if you need anything. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Costa Rica.

Our stay at Lavventura was absolutely amazing. The grounds are beautiful, the pool was wonderful, and the room had everything we needed. We loved being able to prepare our own dinners on nights we stayed in, thanks to the fridge and cooktop. The spacious shower was well-appointed with all the toiletries we needed, and the robe and eye mask were thoughtful touches that made relaxing indoors even better. Waking up to the stunning morning views through the large windows was a highlight of our stay. We also appreciated the added sense of security that comes with being in a gated area, even though the surrounding community is already quiet and peaceful. The location was ideal—nicely tucked away from the busy part of town while still being close to everything. The hosts were wonderful, incredibly responsive, and generous with recommendations for food, excursions, rental cars, and more. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return when visiting Tamarindo in the future. Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel!

Beautifully renovated boutique hotel under new ownership! The design is modern, clean, and thoughtfully done while still feeling warm and authentically Costa Rican. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, and the entire property felt peaceful and well cared for. The host was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Perfect location within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet still quiet and relaxing. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!
