Best price/quality ratio for authentic homemade Italian food in Tamarindo. Highly recommend if you are in town. The house focaccia its amazing. The cherry on top at the end of a big meal its a limoncello and its also on the house. Amazing!! Cocktails are good too, recommend any of the spritz. Dishes on photos: - Ricotta Spinach Ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce - Caprese salad and bresaola carpaccio - Carbonara pasta - Calabrese pizza - Aperol Spritz
My family and I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant after being rudely turned away from Fish and Cheeses without explanation. And I'm so happy we did!! Everyone on staff were so friendly and attentive and they all seemed to be Italian. The atmosphere was great and the food was phenomenal! They make their focaccia in house and it was excellent. If you're looking for authentic Italian in Tamarindo, don't skip this place!
We had breakfast/lunch, which was very good. The host/owner was very friendly and welcoming. We returned in the evening for pizza and live music. We had a wonderful time, the music was great. The owner came out from cooking to say hello. In fact all the staff, wife, daughter and staff were very hospitable. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
