The machines are late-model Segway AT6 quads with power steering, easy to handle, and he goes out of his way to photograph the whole ride. A touch pricier than some, and riders say it's worth it.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Mantaraya Adventures Tamarindo ATV Tours. From start to finish, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. Our guide, Jean-Pierre, truly made the experience unforgettable. He has such a kind spirit and brought an energy to the tour that made it even more special. He seemed just as excited about the adventure as we were, which made everything feel fun and personal rather than routine. When we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, his genuine excitement for us was priceless. Throughout the ride, he was attentive and made sure we were comfortable and confident on the ATV. At no point did we feel rushed. He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the beaches, take in the scenery, and truly appreciate where we were. It felt like we were encouraged to soak it all in rather than move along on a tight schedule. One of the most unexpected and appreciated parts of the tour was how many photos he took for us. He went out of his way to capture great moments throughout the experience. Having those memories documented without having to think about it ourselves was such a thoughtful touch and meant a lot to us. If you are considering an ATV tour in Tamarindo, I highly recommend booking with this company. Jean-Pierre’s enthusiasm, attentiveness, and kindness elevated an already beautiful adventure into something truly special. We would absolutely do it again.

The ATV tour with Mantaraya in the jungle and beaches around Tamarindo for 3h was amazing. As I was on my own, JP scheduled a very private tour taylored to my needs. Mantaraya owns a fleet of nice & recent Segway AT6 with power steering to make it a great and confortable ride. It may be slightly more expensive than other tours in Tamarindo but considering all the above, it’s worth the extra money!

What a fantastic adventure! Riding ATVs with Mantaraya Adventures was the highlight with my friends. The route took us to hidden beaches that you’d never find on your own, and we loved passing through local villages that gave us a feel for real Costa Rica. The ATVs themselves were top-notch and easy to handle. If you’re in Tamarindo and looking for a fun, unique way to explore, this tour is a must!
