About
Namu is a women- and family-owned beachfront restaurant in Tamarindo — a mother and her daughters — where travelers time dinner for the nightly fire-and-silk show. The seafood risotto, whole fish, ceviche and poke bowl recur, along with a standout tamarind-ginger juice. Come for happy hour, watch the sunset over the sand, and stay for the show. Erick gets named for warm service.

I always make it a point to come here whenever I’m in Tamarindo. It’s truly one of my favorite spots! I love stopping by for lunch and happy hour, and then coming back for dinner to watch the incredible fire and silk show - it’s super freaken cool to see. The food is absolutely delicious. The seafood risotto is amazing, the whole fish is perfection, and omg the ceviche!! The drinks are outstanding too. There are endless options, and everything I’ve tried has been nothing but amazing. Thank you for the consistently amazing service every single time I visit. I can’t wait to come back again!
Amazing food! Amazing drinks! Amazing show! Amazing staff! Had such a good time! Poke bowl is perfect! Erick so nice and accommodating. Also love supporting small-family business, especially woman owned, they did an impeccable job! Definitely feels like family here! We had a great night:) thank you!
Everything was great! We came for happy hour and ended up staying for dinner and the fire show! Margaritas tasted great, we all got the steak and it was delicious. We saw the fire show which was so fun and made our night! Also got the banana split which was the best dessert I’ve ever had. Eric was our server and he was the best and was so accommodating. A MUST DO in Tamarindo.
