About
A kind, family-run little hotel with its own butterfly garden and a big rooftop terrace and bar where the views do the talking. The lady who runs the kitchen makes a breakfast guests rave about, and the hosts go out of their way - rescuing locked-out guests in minutes and quietly sorting a booking mix-up. It looks far from the water, but it's about a 15-minute walk to the beach.

Very kind staff, especially the sweet lady who manages the bar/restaurant. She makes a delicious breakfast, feels like the Spanish auntie you never knew you had. Very hospital, and cute butterfly garden. Looks far from the beach but just a 15min walk from the closest point to the beach. Stayed for 3 nights, underrated place.
Perfect little place. They have food and a bar, views, and a pool. The hosts are very very kind. We locked ourselves out several times and they always saved us within minutes.
We lived across the street from the Pupa House for the 2 months we were visiting Tamarindo. We loved looking out our windows at the beautiful Pupa House and seeing their peaceful garden. We visited the cafe a few times to enjoy their delicious food and amazing views from their top deck. The people were so friendly and helpful every time we went. They would always wave to us and say when we would walk by.
