About
Two-tank dives out to the Catalina Islands and Las Catalinas where divers routinely surface talking about manta and eagle rays, a nurse shark, puffers, eels, and turtles. Small groups and attentive dive masters — Veronica gets named most — make it feel safe whether you're certifying through PADI Open Water or logging your hundredth dive. Even on rough, low-visibility days, guides keep finding the good stuff and often send you photos after.

What a fantastic professional scuba diving organization! Scuba Tamarindo has high-quality equipment; great dive sites where we saw three types of rays plus a nurse shark plus puffer fish and countless other fish as well as a turtle on a two tank dive on 2 February 2026! But above and beyond is the dive professionals like Veronica who not only assisted us getting ready for the dive but then took us on two magnificent underwater adventures… I’ve been diving since 1984 and never had such a helpful, professional and caring team. I’ll be back!! Steve on 3 February 2026
I had an awesome experience on a 2 tank dive to Las Catalinas with Scuba Tamarindo. Camille was terrific, she’s a very knowledgeable dive master and it was great that we were in a small group. She was able to spot some really cool marine life.Highly recommend !
Mike was super helpful in helping us get to the shop for our dives which wasn't his responsibility but he did it anyways. Neomi was amazing, Veronica was great on the boat, and Sam our dive leader was awesome and had great enthusiasm for the ocean and it's residents. Boat was clean and gear was in good shape. Fresh fruit on the trip home and we saw amazing animals at the Catalina Islands. Manta, eel's, sharks, rays, puffer fish, and schools of fish were all present on a fairly rough day with low visibility. Sam still found cool things down below. I will dive with them again next time I'm in Costa Rica!!
