About
An ice cream and gelato shop that turns into a nightly ritual for a lot of visitors. The sorbets are made with real fruit — the guava açaí comes up as bright and fresh — and the coffee ice cream, made from Costa Rican beans, is a standout, especially paired with coconut. There's a cinnamon-bun-style cone worth trying, and Silvia is known for patiently walking you through every flavor.

My husband, uncle and I visited Costa Rica for the first time & visited Florencia for ice cream EVERY. NIGHT. Best ice cream in Tamarindo and top tier service everytime! Absolutely will miss this nightly tradition so much! What a treat!
They have a unique cone, which is kinda like having your ice cream in a cinnamon bun which was tasty, and my niece's need to return to continue tasting apparently. Fierenza and her partner were very friendly and helpful with our group. Lovely spot, thank you!
Absolutely loved this ice cream spot! I tried the coffee, coconut, and guava açaí. Every single one was fantastic. The sorbet flavors were incredibly fresh—you can really tell they use real fruit, especially in the guava açaí, which was bright and refreshing. The coffee ice cream stood out with its rich, smooth flavor made from Costa Rican coffee, and it paired beautifully with the coconut. If you’re a fan of coffee and coconut, that combination is a must-try. On top of the amazing flavors, Silvia was a kind and helpful presence, making the experience even better. Solado is a must-try! 🍨✨
