Spa Maya

I am so grateful that I found Maya. I was looking for a massage while visiting Costa Rica and as a massage therapist I knew I needed someone who could take good care of me. But I also realized Maya did reiki and cacao ceremonies as well. So I booked a deep tissue massage with reiki followed by a cacao ceremony. Maya is very warm and welcoming and explains the sacredness of what was taking place, she certainly has a beautiful gift of healing and a pure and gentle soul. The ceremony was amazing, using herbs, incense, and even a sound bath for energy cleansing. This was the perfect way to end my birthday trip. I feel rejuvenated, revitalized and renewed. This Summer, My partner and I visited Maya to celebrate our 10-year anniversary with a Couple's Cacao Ceremony. It was nothing short of amazing and I've told all my friends and family about it. The consistent communication and clear directions for arrival were superb, however, that was not the best part. Ms. Maya's heart and kind spirit was such a warm, welcoming part of this experience. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to do our first cacao ceremony in this beautiful city, talk to and share in this blessing with Maya, and to reconnect as a couple in such an intentional way. Absolutely amazing!!!! Firstly, let me say I’ve gotten several massages in my time. I come from Miami and have paid top dollar for what was suppose to be an exceptional massage. Maya was a breath of fresh air. If you’re a non Spanish speaker you’ll do just fine with her. I got a Shiro Abhyanga and Cupping Massage. My hair and scalp feel amazing she uses all organic natural products she makes herself. The massage was breath taking. I’m an athlete and so much aches, pains and knots. Don’t let her size fool you, she worked out all my problems and I feel rejuvenated. I loved the herb spray she used during the treatments. At the end I asked her about what she used and she gave me a small bottle to take home. I will definitely return to her. If you want a true holistic experience with natural products she’s definitely the place to go!
