A well-stocked grocery a few steps from the beach, handy for grabbing almost anything for your stay — including a big wall of chilled beer, wine, cocktails and liquor right across from the sand, plus welcome AC. It leans on imported products, so prices run high, and one shopper noted manually-keyed prices varied day to day, so it's worth watching the register.

A well stocked grocery store right on the beach in Tamarindo. You can get almost everything including liquor, for your stay in Tamarindo.
Very high prices-- lots of imported products, although you can mostly find what you need. There's a small amount of produce, alcohol, snacks and cooking ingredients, frozen meals, dairy and other drinks. Also, pet food!
I will say to watch the pricing. They manually enter in the pricing. I bought the same energy drink 3 days straight and 1 day I was charged 1200, one day 1500, and one day 1800 depending on the cashier. Otherwise, it had what i needed.
