About
An app-guided riddle hunt that turns Tamarindo into a treasure map — clues send you from iconic landmarks to tucked-away cafés, murals, and viewpoints you'd otherwise walk past, with discounts at local spots baked into the game. Choose Leisure Mode for a relaxed week or Competition Mode for a twelve-hour race. Families and groups love it most: kids take charge of the puzzles and everyone ends up exploring together.

If you want something unique to do in Tamarindo that gets everyone involved, this scavenger hunt is the way to go. We did it with my siblings and our parents, and it honestly had something for all ages. The riddles made us think, the challenges made us laugh, and the adventure pushed us to explore areas outside the usual tourist path. By the end, we felt like we actually understood the town instead of just passing through it. My friends and I tried the scavenger hunt during our second day in Tamarindo, and we’re still talking about how unexpectedly fun it was. The app gives you clues that take you from iconic spots to hidden gems — and solving them together made the whole experience feel like we were kids again. We took tons of photos, discovered some awesome local businesses, and even ended up using several of the discounts included in the game. It definitely made Tamarindo feel alive in a different way.
We traveled to Tamarindo with a group of close friends, and this scavenger hunt ended up being the perfect group activity! The challenges were clever but easy enough for everyone to participate, and it turned our day into one long, fun treasure hunt. We ended up discovering restaurants, murals, and hidden corners of the town that weren’t even on our itinerary. The best part? We spent the whole day talking, joking, and working together (something we don’t always get to do back home! Yay!)
Such a fun family experience! It was well organized, simple to do, and my kids loved exploring Tamarindo. We got to meet the lifeguards, look for wildlife, and get tasty treats! Definitely recommend if traveling in Tamarindo with kids!
