A pizza spot a short walk out where the Neapolitan-style pies land with a light, crispy crust and fresh toppings — the Backyard pizza is the go-to. Prices and portions get called genuinely good value, the staff (J and C get named) are attentive and warm, and there's a little complimentary chocolate to finish. The pizza is the sure thing; keep to it and you'll leave happy.

Really enjoyed my first dinner in Tamarindo and I’m already planning to come back during my 3-week stay. J and C gave excellent, attentive service the whole evening; they were friendly and made me feel very welcome right from the start. I ordered the Backyard pizza; nice Neapolitan-style with a light, crispy crust and fresh ingredients. Solid pizza and exactly what I was craving. After checking out a lot of places around town, I appreciate that the prices here are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes; definitely good value, which makes it easy to return often on a longer trip. The little complimentary chocolate at the end was a lovely surprise touch. Thank you J, C, and the team; great experience overall. Pura Vida! 🇨🇷
Outstanding. We didn’t know if we could find really great pizza and we absolutely did! 🍀☀️ The staff was so kind and helpful. We have only amazing things to say about our experience. We will be back!!
