A small beachside kiosk — six stools and a wooden counter on the street nearest the sand — that becomes a daily ritual for a lot of visitors. Vicki runs it with a charm people remember, juggling several orders at once. The açaí and fruit bowls, overflowing with fresh fruit, get called the best in Tamarindo, and the generous iced coffee makes an easy to-go morning stop.

I have been starting my day in Costa Rica with one of Vicki's fruit bowls and a smoothie for a few weeks and it keeps getting better. My favourite yogurt bowl overflows with delicious fresh fruit, sometimes with nuts and granola, however I wish. The smoothie recipes are always a difficult choice but I have enjoyed all of them to the last strawful. It's a cool kiosk on the street nearest the beach with six stools and a wooden counter. It often reminds me of the old southern California beaches. And Vicki's charming personality while managing several orders at once is amazing.
Found this spot 2 days into our vacation and it became my go-to spot every morning for a delicious iced coffee. Generous size for the price and packaged with a lid made it great as a to-go option. Vicky was such a delight. Highly recommend!
