Waterman’s Surf & Sport

They had everything we needed for our beach vacation. We rented a surfboard and 2 chairs. Everything was in great condition. The houts are posted on the door as well as a phone number.

Everything was great when we were paying Watermans money to book multiple tours. We booked a snorkeling tour in Costa Rica. They were great… until there was a problem. That is why we went through an agent. Thinking it would be more reliable. The first time we showed up for the snorkel tour … no one showed up at all. They said we had the wrong day. We didn’t think so but booked a second tour. They did not show up again at the arranged time and place. (we waited 40 minutes for a second time). When calling and visiting neither business would refund even a portion of our money. When the owner of Watermans was informed, she refused responsibility or to refund any money. We found them to be very unprofessional. You may as well book directly with the tours than pay more to go through to them.

This place is a gem. Marcela recommended a local product for sunburn and it worked where the bottled stuff did not. Very knowledgeable about the local flora, fauna, places, etc. Ice cream is great too!
