Wyndham Tamarindo

The hotel is extremely well located with one of the best views of Tamarindo beach. The infinity pool gets sun all afternoon. The rooms are spacious, except for the bathroom (small and without closets, making organization difficult, especially when traveling with children). The room service is excellent. Everyone is very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is weak and slow. We give breakfast a 6 (little variety of breads, untasty cakes, and some bland dishes). Dinner was expensive and not good. The gym was the biggest negative point (it's not located in the hotel, requires booking, only has 5 spots per time slot, and starts at 8 am). I recommend it and we would stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful room and balcony view! Wyndham has a shuttle that runs to town and back about every 1 hour or so. It is about a 25 minute walk down to town but all uphill on way back. Cavair restaurant exceptional. Especially breakfast buffet which is served from 0630 to 10:00. All employees happy and friendly.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views from every room, restaurant, and the infinity pool. We got king ocean view and it was great. Restaurant food was good but expensive. Breakfast is average for a buffet. Offer free shuttle to downtown and their partner beach club (which is included with the stay) but not to the airport, which was little disappointing. The hotel itself is situated on a tall hill if you’re planning to walk to and from, it is an intense uphill hike. But that’s what gives it’s the amazing views!
