ZOLU TACO BAR Tamarindo

I HIGHLY recommend Zolu!!! The owner is so nice and friendly, very helpful with tips on where to go in Costa Rica too! We got the Mahi Mahi Burrito and the Birria tacos. Both were very incredible. My partner and I rate everywhere we go for food out of 10 and if we give Zolu an 11 out of 10, for both meals! We wanted to gear here one more time, but sadly didn’t work with our schedule! But we will definitely be back to this restaurant when we come back to Costa Rica.

We absolutely loved our meals here. We stumbled upon the place because they had a live band playing, the music was incredible. Then we had the food, honestly some of the best Mexican food we have had. We tried everything, burritos, quesadillas and tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious. On top of all that, the service was amazing, all the staff and the owner were so friendly and made sure to come down and chat to each table. We will 100% be back and we’d highly recommend it.

The tacos are insanely good - fresh, bold flavors, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with intention. 🌮🔥 The vibe is relaxed yet vibrant, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the whole place feels like one of those spots you’ll keep coming back to - whether it’s a casual night out or a spontaneous taco craving after the beach. You can taste the freshness in every ingredient, and the menu has that perfect mix of comfort and surprise. Hands down some of the best tacos in town. If you’re in Tamarindo and don’t stop at Zolu, you’re missing out. Highly, highly recommended 🤍🌴
