Zulu Surf Hotel

Location was excellent. Central to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Tatiana who works the check in desk was awesome. She help me book a surf lesson and gave me various tips. My room was just ok. It was the first room near the entrance and was loud because people were buzzing themselves in. There was also some loud street noise. The only real window was facing the courtyard, which wasn’t very private. That being said, the common area upstairs was nice and bright and I hung out there a lot. Would stay again, for a night or two, but maybe not a week like I did. I am pushing 40 and not much of a night owl.

Amazing location! We had the largest room in the hotel and it was great. Playa Negro facing the main street. My only recommendation for the hotel is to get better blackout curtains. The small gaps in the current curtains let's some sun in and the AC can't keep up cooling the room. It's hotter then hell in Tamarindo.

WOW! Just simply beautiful. Location is amazing, staff are attentive and friendly.. had an amazing sleep, enjoyed the common areas. Just a 3 minute walk to the beach.. restaurants EVERYWHERE.. cute and unique shopping and a vibe everyone should feel. I will stay here again!
