Art Hostel Costa Linda

WOW! I have to say this is the best restaurant I’ve eaten in a while and definitely the best in Costa Rica. I’ve been travelling through here for a few weeks and all the food has been good but the food at Costa Linda really was absolutely incredible. Firstly when we arrived it was packed, we had to wait for a table but that was no problem for them, they sat us in another table but kindly gave us one at the front when it was ready, we ordered drinks as the kitchen was busy, I had a pineapple daiquiri which was really good, fresh and flavourful. We played cards whilst waiting for our main course and the chap who I believe owns it came over, he was so friendly, he showed us and our teenage boys a magic track whilst chatting away to us. The were really impressed with the trick. When the food came over all I can say is WOW! We shared a red snapper, shrimp salad and traditional plate, it was good portions, very healthy and fresh and the flavours were on point. Our boys both had carbonara and they finished the lot, they said it was one of the best they’ve had. I love the decor and feel of the restaurant and the atmosphere. I would 100% recommend here to anyone. Thank you for a brilliant dining experience!

We had a great experience here. The food was good, service was attentive, and portion sizes were solid for the price. We ordered the fried shrimp, rice with seafood, and rice with fish, all were enjoyable and came out quickly. This is not exactly a culinary epicenter, so expectations for food in the area should be realistic, and this place delivered exactly what you would hope for. A varied menu, efficient service, and a comfortable, quiet seating area set nicely back from the park entrance. Overall, a very solid option and an easy place to recommend.

During our trip, this was the cheapest option for a private room in Manuel Antonio. The location is good and you can eat at the hostel. The food is okay and a bit cheaper than in other places. The rooms and bathrooms were also okay.
