Avis Rent a Car Tamarindo

I had to return a car initially from Liberia due to a flat tire. The service agent was quick to solve the problem and replaced my car. She asked for me to go refuel the car which I happily did. I received the new car, dropped off the other with a full tank, and all was good. 6 days later, I get an additional $130 charge on my CC. Contacted Avis and they said it’s because I didn’t return the first rental on a full tank. Provided receipt proof of gas purchased and still no refund. I hold presidential club stats with Avis and you just lost a lifetime customer. Good riddance. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE OR ANY OTHER AVIS LOCATION.

Online it says 12:30-1:30 they are out for lunch. got there @12 and the guy there was super rude. He already took his lunch and the sign said 12-1. Misleading, unprofessional, using hand gyrations to shoo me away and yelling at me but I couldn’t hear him because of the glass door. 4/25. I tried to apologize since I didn’t know and even offered to pay extra just to drop off my car and now I’m going to miss my shuttle. Stay away from this place, I cannot imagine even dealing with this guy if it was actually open when it says it is (which it isn’t)

Not sure why this place is rated low, but my experience was exceptionally good. Jessica, who works there, went above and beyond to provide excellent service. From finding and booking my car all the way to drop off, she made the process seamless. I've booked with her twice within 10 days and both times she took great care of me. See Jesica there and you have nothing to worry about.
