Chungo runs small estuary tours through the Playa Grande mangroves where guide Fabio and captain David get named again and again for spotting wildlife and knowing it well — birds, raccoons, monkeys, iguanas, and crocodiles, down to a baby croc. They hand out fresh pineapple and cold water along the way. Take the early 7am slot: cooler, calmer water, and far fewer other boats.

Had a great trip with Fabio our tour guide and our boat driver on the 2 hour tour. They were very knowledgeable about all the wild life we encountered and gave us plenty of time to view each one we saw. They were very easy going and fed us fresh pineapples and cold water. Thanks for a top notch tour!

We had a great tour with team guide Fabio and captain David. They have been really at spotting wildlife and they were very knowledgeable. We saw lots of birds, raccoons, monkeys, iguanas and a crocodile and a « baby » crocodile ! Highly recommend the 7am tour, not too hot and so peaceful atmosphere on the river!
