El Reinas by Sugar's Monkey is a 2-to-3-minute walk from Playa Grande, with a pool area beautifully laid out under the trees and staff guests describe as warm and genuinely helpful. The kitchen leans Italian — the pizza gets called some of the best in Playa Grande, with authentic dishes and a limoncello to finish. It's a relaxed, well-priced stay close to the sand.

I stayed here for about a week at the end of January! It was lovely, only a 2 minute walk straight to the beach! Walking distance to other restaurants as well! And the best part was Vladimir, he was the absolute best and a joy to be around! He made sure we were always taken care of, felt all the love! Only suggestion would be to have their restaurant back and running!
Beautiful place, very close to the beach. The staff is so kind and helpful. Also the Pizza is really good ☺️
We were able to spend four wonderful days in this little oasis. As motorbike travellers on the PanAmericana, we are always happy when we find a little hideaway like this where we can relax for a few days. The rooms are nice and the pool area is beautifully designed and invites you to spend the hot afternoons under the trees. The staff are courteous, warm and extremely helpful. The restaurant offers authentic Italian cuisine with heart. Real soul food including limoncello at the end;). As I'm a restaurateur myself, I'd like to make the following comment; it's a pity that the restaurant isn't listed on Google, as it really is a little gem and definitely deserves more attention. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and that at a top price-performance ratio. Many thanks dear El Reinas team. Keep up the good work!
