Had the best experience with Frijoles Locos!! My friend and I took surf lessons with Giovanni, and he was amazing. Taught us on the training boards and then on the boards we were renting which was super helpful—stood up many times and caught a few fun little waves. Great teacher, explained corrections clearly, super friendly, and very encouraging! We had so much fun and will definitely be renting boards from them again. Thanks so much, pura vida!

We were lucky enough to have Sebas as our instructor, and he made the entire experience unforgettable. His calm, supportive style helped us feel at ease and have so much fun out in the water. We ended up booking a second lesson with him because we enjoyed it that much! Whether you’re brand new to surfing or looking to improve your skills, this is the place to go in Playa Grande. Drew and his team were absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was seamless. We had an amazing time during our surf lessons with Giovanni and Andres—they were knowledgeable, fun, great coaches!, and made the experience a ton of fun. After the lessons, we rented boards.
