Hotel Laguna del Cocodrilo is a beachfront stay at the quiet end of Tamarindo's strip, with a private path straight to the sand and a near-secluded beach out front. Rooms are simple — AC, small fridge, hot water, nothing elaborate — but clean and a real value for the area, and there's a well-loved restaurant downstairs. Returning guests credit an owner who goes above and beyond and staff who make it feel like a home away from home.

I have stayed 4 times so far at cocodorilo and it’s by far the best place to stay. Sandy the owner goes above and beyond. The rooms are clean and it’s a quick walk to the beach. It feels like a home away from home!
Rooms are small but decent nothing very fancy.
The lady & her son who run the place were excellent. It was quiet & air conditioning worked awesome. Only issue was with key not working properly for front door but I got help a new key right away. It is on the beach in secluded off right at end of main strip, so in 4 minutes walk you on your way in shops food etc…The views from this hotel at night were amazing! There’s even an amazing restaurant right downstairs and the staff are amazing. Also, the cleaning staff was so nice! You won’t regret staying here that’s for sure! Thank you for the hospitality 🇵🇱🇺🇸😊
