This secluded beachfront spread in Playa Grande is built for big groups — families of fourteen, wedding parties of twenty-plus — with room to spread out across bungalows and the pool at Casa Guayacán. Guests praise a responsive concierge who lines up transport and excursions, an on-site chef, and the short panga ride across the estuary to Tamarindo's nightlife. Driving in takes 45-plus minutes, but the beach and privacy win people over.

The property is amazing! A little rustic but so so charming. My husband and I just had our wedding there and it was a perfect place to host our large eclectic group. There was space for everyone and various spaces and nearby attractions for all sorts of personalities and age ranges. The kids and the young families loved he pool at casa guayacan. The beach access and views were stunning. The property is secluded and private but still close enough to a few restaurants and the pangas (boats) over the estuary to tamarindo. We would love to come back for our 5 or 10 year anniversary!
Beautiful secluded spot for small or large groups. Still an easy drive or ferry to Tamarindo
We stayed here for 7 days with our family of 14. We couldn’t have been happier. The beach was the best I’ve ever experienced. If we had a question the concierge followed up immediately. And the chef was perfecto. I would love to go back.
