About
Origami Street Food is the sushi call in Playa Grande's cluster of side-by-side food stalls — the rolls come fresh, the sushi burger has people raving, and the mozzarella sticks and spicy edamame back it up. It's part of a lively courtyard scene with live music and menus from the neighboring trucks. When it's slammed the kitchen can fall behind and the bao buns are the weak spot, so lean into the sushi.

Came here and it seemed like the staff were overwhelmed. They told us not to order sushi because it would take over an hour. We didn't order sushi but it still took quite awhile to get the food out. The food was okay but certainly not great. The best thing our group of 6 ordered was the Korean chifrijo. The bao buns were quite disappointing. Especially the Guana bao bun. The sushi on the other tables looked pretty good though. I would opt for the sushi and ignore the rest if I came here again. It is also a bad idea to come here for dinner when it is busy.
Loved, loved, loved all the sushi and appetizers they had to offer here. The mozzarella sticks were some of the most delicious I've had in a long time. We had the spicy edamame which was great as well. The sushi was so fresh and absolutely amazing! We got 5 rolls and everyone raved about theirs.
The sushi burger was the best thing I ever put in my mouth. And only God know what I been puting there.
