About
Soda La Ventana is the easy-to-miss roadside soda in Tamarindo that's worth the stop — a little shack where the grilled chicken and the homemade chili-salsa get called the best around. Regulars come back for authentic casados, gallo pinto with coffee, and a traditional breakfast with café con leche. Look up while you eat; travelers report monkeys swinging through the trees overhead.

Great local food. Local place with typical costa rican food. Great portion, don’t hesitate to stop by.
Can't recommend enough if you want local experience
It's a little place of the side of the road very easy to miss. Without the reviews, we would not have stopped here. The food was probably the best we have had at a Soda. (we had the grilled chicken). The house hot sauce is also amazing. We would certainly eat here again and worth a trip just to eat here by the side of the road. And don't let the appearance of the shack/cabin put you off as the food is a local treat to have. And we also had monkeys swinging in the trees so if you do come here, have a look up.
