Tsunami Hostel Tamarindo

Room was not clean… cockroaches and ants… location was ok as there is a great food place right next to it. But would not really recommend this hostel.

Soon to be Her Waves and Wifi. We absolutely loved our stay here and felt right at home. Right across the street from Tamarindo beach, and the staff made it feel like family, currently redecorating and it's coming out very pretty!!

The only good about this Hostel is the location. Its closed to pretty much everything, food , beach shopping and so forth. Regarding rooms we actually had a bad experience we were there for 2 night and both night were very noisy. The worse part was that its from the same people that live there and take care of location. Both nights were noisy, I mean NOISY people yelling like it was day time and banging on something. The 1st room they had given us, the door did not lock. They moved us to room 4, I believe. This room was old, on every aspect. There was NO Hot water. Which I guess they think its not needed since it was hot but after all day in the water its nice to have a warm shower. The room completely needs to be renovated, At least a paint to give it a refresher. The receptionist was great, he gave us lots of information as where to eat or go shopping. Unfortunately, I did not take photos of location, this image is really close to location.
