Aparthotel Hermosa Paradise

Very clean and spacious. 10 min walk (1/3 mile) to Playa Hermosa. Everything you could want with a family. We had 5 adults and 2 kids in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. We had everything we needed. Cold A/C, Clean towels, kitchen with plates, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, pans, cooking utensils, etc. Also well stocked with toilet paper, soap and shampoo. Very nice and clean pool and a nice secure parking area. Host was very responsive with a very friendly staff. I would stay here again.

Our family traditionally vacations, exchanging our timeshare for condos with full kitchens so we can eat most meals at the condo and have a few nicer family dinners out. We wanted to go to Costa Rica, but unfortunately, there were no condos available during our vacation. We used Expedia to locate a condo with a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms. When we arrived, we realized that we had made a mistake with Expedia. It asked how many people were travelling, then asked for the unit size (2 bedrooms), and then asked how many per room. We said 2 people, which resulted in reserving 2 units (4 bedrooms). At check-in, we contacted the office to ask why 2 units were ordered, and they said that was what was ordered. Vanessa was in the office, reviewed the situation and asked us to contact Expedia to request a refund for the second room. Expedia explained that it was up to Hermosa Paradise if they would approve a refund or not. We were very thankful that Vanessa and David, the manager, agreed to refund the second unit we had ordered in error, which was a gesture we greatly appreciated. This is why we wanted to post our review, as not every business today does the right thing, and this business did. Beyond this, we found a small mechanical issue with the A/C unit in our condo on our second day. This was fixed the next day and worked great. The people are amazing, communicated quickly via WhatsApp before our stay, and sent instructions for accessing the condo and for responding quickly during the stay. The units are clean, well-kept, and the location is ideal. A grocery store is just in front of the property, so it is convenient to pick up food or drinks. There is a good-sized pool and hot tub, and various restaurants are close by, with Playa Hermosa beach just a 7-minute walk away. We highly recommend this condo or aparthotel to everyone.

We had room 1. It is by the main road so lots of traffic noise, but we slept well. There is a grocery store in the building, you can buy coffee and coffee filters there. Parking was good by CR standards. When you exit the sidewalk on right is a short stroll into the Playa Hermosa restaurant and beach community. There are better beaches that are a short drive away.
