About
A small, family-run neighborhood restaurant on the road to Ocotal, impeccably clean and close to farm-and-sea-to-table. The ribeye gets extraordinary praise, with one guest calling it the best steak of their life, served with chimichurri on the side, alongside crispy-fluffy empanadas, fresh ceviche, and watermelon juice and pineapple sorbet to cool off. Several call it the best meal of their whole Costa Rica trip. Food can take a little time.

Came here Friday night 12/12/25 for dinner. Smaller neighborhood restaurant on road to Ocotal. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Impeccably clean. Promptly seated and drunk orders. As far as I could tell it's all farm/ranch/sea to table. Watermelon juice and pineapple sorbet was delicious and thirst quenching. Empanadas we're fluffy and crispy. Ordered the ribeye steaks and might have been the best steak of my life. Didn't need anything on it. Chimicurri sauce was on the side. I passed on dessert but she had the cheesecake and said it was delicious. Two sorbets, Don Julio, 2 Titos, 3 imperial lights, 2 appetizers, two ribeye meals and a slice of cheesecake came out to $110 with VAT. We're staying in Cocomarindo neighborhood and it was a 3 minute cart ride. It's located on the way to Father Roosters.
This place is amazing! From the drinks to the food 10/10. Some of the best empanadas I’ve ever had and the ceviche tasted so fresh. The food took a little time to come out but we were not upset the piña colada’s kept us cool and refreshed! Will definitely add this to the must have Costa Rica list!
This restaurant is fabulous a hidden jem. The food was delicious, the people were kind, friendly and prompt. They even brought us a desert that was so good. Went back for a latte later and it was also delicious. You cannot go wrong eating here as it has all the perks
