Anika Boutique Suites

Anika is located very centrally in Playa Del Coco with only a short walk to the beach / town area. It’s a very basic hotel with a pool and chill out area along with self help kitchen facilities. The pool didn’t seem very well maintained but I guess swimming at the beach may be more appealing anyway. Also, there is no house keeping offered which if you’re staying there for a week or so would be nice, especially as they ask to throw toilet paper in the bins rather than the toilet - so bin changes would be great. The rooms could also do with some maintenance, for example our shower was leaking all over the bathroom floor so our bath mat was constantly soaking and due to no housekeeping we couldn’t have this changed. If you would like a basic / good for value and good location stay in Playa Del Coco, Anika could be a good option :)

Staff didn't really explain anything when I checked in. Some rooms are by a really busy road. And when my phone charger broke around 9 pm, no one was at reception or the front desk to help me which is strange for a hotel. That being said the room was cleaner than everywhere else I've seen in CR and AC works, bed is comfortable. Just staff need to be better and have normal reception hours.

Clean , well stocked , walking distance to everything you would need. Beach just a quick walk as well. Will book again if I ever travel back to Costa Rica .
